Welcome!

Welcome! Through my blog I hope to share with you my passion for art and animals. I will be posting WIPs and completed art as well as snippets about my 'sprollie' (springer spaniel X collie) Tilly, who shares my life.
Blogging is all new to me so please bear with me while I get to grips with all the bits I need to discover to make your visit interesting and entertaining.

This is a pastel picture I did of Tilly a while ago. She loves posing for the camera, so I get some nice reference photos to work from.

  4. Great Bev, I haven't seen this picture of Tilly before it's wonderful and I'm sure she appreciates its. I remember hanging a pastel painting I did of my golden retriever and everytime she came in the room she used to bark at it. I hope this comment posts OK, I did one earlier but it seems to have got lost in the ether.

  6. Hi Bev
We've just had our hols cut short as Mum-in-Law (aged 91)fell and broke her hip so I haven't looked at my blog for a while. Thanks for becoming a follower. A group of us from Mel's forum started our blogs a couple of months ago so I know how fiddly it is to start with - Good luck with yours. You're off to a great start and I've just added your blog to my blog link list (if you intend to do reciprocal links I'd love to be added to yours at some stage)
    Look forward to seeing progress

  7. Nice to see you starting a blog Bev. You may find my resource site useful - Blogging for Artists - Resources for Artists - re feeds, stats etc

Once you've found your feet, if you'd like a bit more space for your WIPs in your blog posts, you might like to try one of the stretch templates which adjust to fill the screen - giving you a bit more space in the post and the side column.

Do drop me a line if you want help with anything.

  8. Hi Bev,

This is a wonderful work, namely in terms of perspective and of the animal's expression.
Good luck with your blogging activity, I'm sure that will connect you even more with the public.

    Kind regards,

    José
