Coloured Hare

This was something completely new for me, loose and in bright colours. I used Sennelier Oil pastels, which are very soft and buttery and are a joy to work with. The support is off white mattboard, measuring around A4 which is quite small for oil pastels but it did stop me getting into the detail.

I may well attempt another in similar style.


  1. Lovely Bev, I wouldn't have recognised it as one of yours but he definitely needs a mate to sit by him on the wall.

  2. Wow, this is so different from your usual style, I love it. Sennelier oil pastels are great, aren't they. It's nice to try something completely away from the usual, frees one up. Hope you do some more like this.
